言葉で表現するのが難しいぐらい、むちゃくちゃおもしろいゲーム？。サウンド（効果音）も愉快で楽しい。
Stunt Copter is an old Macintosh game made by Duane Blehm, in 1987.
Duane passed away a few years ago.
作者のDuane Blehmさんは、亡くなられましたが、私は彼の作品が一番好きだ。
今は、当時では考えられないくらいコンピュータの性能がアップした。
個人レベルで、ソフト開発を続けるのは、困難な時代になってしまった・・・。
HomeTown Software、私の一番好きな言葉だ。

数年前、インターネット上でDuane Blehmさんについて、悲しい記事を見つけた。
Duane passed away a few years ago.
彼の作品には、飄々とした中にも、温かみのある内容のゲームソフトが多くある。
その中でも Cairo shootoutは最高傑作の１つ。 ９インチモノクロスクリーン、System6が起動に必要な条件。（Stunt Copterは1986年のデビューにも関わらず、OS 8でも、らくらく起動する汎用性に富むソフトだがCairo shootoutは起動条件がややシビアである。）
それ故、Cairo shootoutを楽しむにはMac Plus, SEなど初期のコンパクトマックが必要となる。（エミュレータのVmacでは、この感動・感激・満足感は絶対に伝わらない。さらに効果音もこの作品の重要な要素の１つである。）
しかし、このゲームを楽しむだけのため、Mac Plusを購入しても後悔はしないと思う。

Stunt Copter is a classic Macintosh game which involved piloting a small helicopter around a playfield and clicking at the right time so that a person suspended from the aircraft would fall into the hay bale on a moving cart. Unless precisely timed, the person might fall onto the ground or injure the horse or the driver of the cart. The game was developed by Duane Blehm whose other games included Cairo Shootout and ZeroGravity. His small software company was known as HomeTown Software. After his death, his parents released his games into the public domain.
A Mac OS X version of the game has been released by Antell Software.
Mac OS ?]で起動可能な、Stunt CopterがAntell Softwareからリリースされた。私は実際に起動中の画面を見たことはないが、若いMac世代にも、９インチモノクロ画面で本物のStunt Copterを楽しんでもらいたい。
